1 Introduction
Sulfonated Cobalt Phthalocyanine is a kind of high efficient catalyst used to remove mercaptan in refining of propylene and light oil products, such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel oil or cut oil, or used to remove sulfur from LPG or sulfur-containing waste water. Reducing mercaptan can lessen the malodor of gasoline, decrease corrosivity, and reduce the lead response of gasoline to strengthen its stability during storage. It has high mercaptan activity, long service life and high solubility, and is soluble in diluted alkaline solution at normal temperature.
The product has good performances superior to those of others of the same kind in China and it is proved by many refineries of SINOPEC, e.g., Qilu Branch Co., SINOPEC, Jinan Refinery, SINOPEC, and a lot of local refineries.
