LF601 TiO2-Based Sulfur Recovery Catalyst
LF601 is a kind of TiO2-based sulfation resistant sulfur recovery catalyst. Compared with Al2O3-based sulfur recovery catalysts currently used in industry, it has the following characteristics:
(1) Higher catalytic activities to hydrolysis reaction of organic sulfides and H2S+SO2 Claus reaction, nearly approaching thermodynamic equilibrium.
(2) Insensitive to the presence of O2, resistant to 2,000ppm O2 in hydrolysis reaction, and even up to 10,000ppm O2 in Claus reaction; furthermore, once high concentration O2 is removed, its activity is nearly completely recovered.
(3) For a same conversion, LF601 allows for a shorter contact time of about 3 seconds, that means allowing for 1,000-12,000h-1 space velocity, therefore, the reactor volume can be reduced.
